Hot yoga

Hot Yoga Class is a twenty-six asana series designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons, in the order in which they should be stretched. Hot Yoga’s twentysix posture exercises systematically move fresh, oxygenated blood to one hundred percent of your body, to each organ and fiber, restoring all systems to healthy working order, just as Nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health, and a sense of well-being will automatically follow.

The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root «yuj», i.e. «to yoke» [to the spirit] meaning «union of the Individual Soul (Atman) with the Universal Soul (Brahman). «Atman» and «Brahman» are Hindu idealogical terms, and are used as a reference for the mind, whereas there truly is only Oneness.

Absolute yoga

Is comparative to our Hot90 (Bikram) class. We practise in a heated room, using mirrors to work on better alignment. Many poses are the same in Absolute yoga & Hot 90 class. The difference is that we practice only one set and add some new poses to the sequence. Absolute yoga is suitable for everybody. Beginners can join - advanced yogis will still be challenged. Come sweat with us.

Hot 60 (lunchbreak class)

he one hour Hot60 yoga class is the ‘little brother’ of our Hot90 class. We cover all the poses during 60 minute session. Sometimes we practice only one set or combine poses to fit this full body and mind workout into a 60 minute frame. Curious? Just try it!

Yin yoga

Works deep into the connection tissue expanding flexibility while stimulating the energy centres of the body to release blockages and increase your energy flow. It’s a changing series of long held, passive floor poses that calm and balance the mind and body. No time to slow down? Join our yin classes at HYG.
